Understanding Page View Analytics

The Page table shows metrics per unique URL in your site.

The page analytics table

The URL shows the unique URL viewed.

Glass normalises URL query strings on ingest. URLs with different query strings will be tracked as the same URL.

Time on Page

This is the median time on page for this URL. A page must have at least 10 views before this is shown.

Scroll Depth

This is the median scroll depth for this URL. It is calculated as the bottom-most visible pixel seen, divided by the total page height.

This means that a page that is only 1/3 visible will have an initial scroll depth of 33%.

A page must have at least 10 views before this is shown.

Entries

The number of times this was the first page of a user's session.

Exits

The number of times this was the last page of a user's session.

Views

The number of times this page was viewed.

Finding a Particular URL

Searching for a particular URL

Type in the search box a part of the URL you would like to find.

The table will automatically filter to show you the URLs that match that text.

The Domain Tab

This shows the views by hostname. Use this tab when using Glass across multiple domains or hosts.

You can click on a domain to filter traffic by this domain/host.
